Tzatziki, Athens, Blooming Schools, Erasmus+
Another week, another event.🤩
In October 2022, I attended the Erasmus+ project ”Blooming Schools” meeting in Athens. The project, funded by the EU and implemented in four European countries, aims to create wildlife gardens on school grounds to promote integrated learning and bring green activism to schools. Creating wildlife gardens helps protect biodiversity, which is crucial to the planet’s well-being.🌸
🤝 During my stay, I had the privilege of engaging with like-minded partners from Greece, Portugal, and Malta on the topic of empowering the youth and educators with practical information to save and restore biodiversity. We brainstormed effective strategies and solutions to make a tangible difference in our local communities.
Station Europe aims to connect young people with nature, showing them that technology and social media are helpful and modern tools for communicating today’s issues and finding the right solutions. 🗣️
🆕 That is why our Vlogging Academy
project is expanding through this Erasmus+ program.
👨🏼💻🌱 Vlogging Academy for Sustainability will be a modular hub for young people, designed to grow into community leaders, good communicators, change-makers, and creators thriving in our digital society. Station Europe will lead this project activity, as our organization already has expertise in creating content and training young people in the vlogging and social media world.
Sir David Attenborough stated, “Saving the planet is now a communication challenge.” With this project, Station Europe aims to connect young people with nature, showing them that technology and social media are helpful and modern tools for communicating today’s issues and finding the right solutions.
